Teaching and Learning Support Practitioner (Sunderland)

Teaching & Learning Support Practitioner – Full time (37 hours, Monday to Friday), term time only plus 5 additional days, N5 SCP13 – 17, £28,163 - £30,060 pro rata (£24,182 - £25,811 per annum)

Positions to fill:

  • 2 Permanent Roles
  • 4 Fixed Term Roles

We are seeking friendly, approachable, and calm individuals to join our team as teaching & learning support practitioners. Previous experience working in an SEMH environment and managing pupil behaviour would be advantageous.

The successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with learners, treating them with respect and consideration.

Applicants should have or be working towards NVQ Level 2 or 3 for Teaching Assistants, or possess an equivalent qualification or experience.

A minimum of Level 2 Basic Skills in Literacy and Numeracy is required for this role.
