Matlock Bath Holy Trinity CofE Primary School is seeking an excellent Teaching and Learning Assistant to support a Year One pupil with additional needs. The role is fixed-term until August 2027, with working days Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

The successful candidate will join a supportive staff team, share the school's Christian ethos and strive to raise outcomes for all children through dedication, enthusiasm and a sense of humour.

Job description

Matlock Bath Holy Trinity CofE Primary School, are seeking to appoint an excellent Teaching and Learning Assistant with high expectations who has the passion, enthusiasm and commitment to give our children the very best that they deserve. The primary role will be to provide support for a child in Year One, with additional needs. The post will commence as soon as possible and is fixed term initially until August 2027 (working days are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday). There is a possibility of the position being extended beyond August 2027, depending on pupil numbers for subsequent academic years.

The post is for a Teaching Assistant in a mixed Reception/Key Stage 1 class.
