Job summary

Beormund Primary School in Peckham is recruiting for a role focused on supporting children with complex SEMH needs. The successful candidate will engage with learners who present challenging behaviours, helping them to make social, emotional and academic progress in a safe, supportive setting.

• Emotionally intelligent and resourceful teaching professional with ability to distract, divert and inspire children with challenging behaviours.
• Experience with children with SEMH.

• Support children with SEMH and challenging behaviours in everyday learning.
• Promote safety, wellbeing and positive behavioural expectations.
• Contribute to inclusive teaching approaches and a calm, structured classroom environment.
