Beormund Primary School in London is seeking a confident and capable class teacher to join our expanding SEMH-focused provision. You will support children with complex social, emotional and mental health needs, planning engaging lessons and working within an aspirational, therapeutic school culture.

We are looking for someone with SEMH experience, strong curriculum knowledge, excellent communication and the ability to lead and coordinate a subject area while guiding support staff.

Qualifications

• Experience or strong interest in SEMH and behaviours.
• Secure knowledge of the national curriculum and aspirational expectations.
• Ability to plan fun, engaging lessons for varied needs, levels and interests.
• Demonstrates emotional intelligence, patience and kindness.
• Excellent communication skills with pupils, staff and families.
• Ability to manage behaviour positively and consistently.
• Ability to lead and manage support staff and coordinate a subject area.
