Whaley Bridge ER Primary School is seeking a motivated teaching assistant to join our supportive team. The successful candidate will work across the primary age range, aiding learning and supporting pupils with SEND within an inclusive classroom environment.

We value flexibility, a good sense of humor and a collaborative approach to help maintain a happy, busy school culture. This is a fixed-term contract from September 2026 to August 2027, with potential for part-time arrangements.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge, experience and understanding of primary education.
• Experience of supporting the inclusion of pupils with special educational needs (SEND).
• Able to work across the primary age range with a flexible, fun approach.

Responsabilités

• Support teachers in delivering lessons and managing activities.
• Provide targeted support for pupils with SEND within the classroom.
• Assist with supervising groups and promoting a positive learning environment.

The children, staff and governors of Whaley Bridge ER primary school are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic teaching assistant to join our supportive and dedicated team.

The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge, experience and understanding of primary education, and ideally experience of supporting the inclusion of pupils with special educational needs through strong inclusive values. We are looking for a highly capable, experienced candidate, who can work across the primary age range and who has experience of working with pupils with SEND

The post is a fixed term contract from September 202 to August 2027 in the first instance, subject to funding and pupil numbers. Due to the nature of the position it may be possible to offer this on a part time basis split between one or more suitable candidates.
