Job summary

Tong Leadership Academy in Bradford, part of Star Academies, is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a disadvantaged community. You will provide tailored support to learners and help create an outstanding learning environment.

The successful candidate will have an NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent and experience working with children in a school setting, plus the ability to build positive relationships and support individuals and groups across lessons.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent required.
• Experience of working with children in a school setting.
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with students and adults.
• Ability to work with pupils one-to-one, in small groups and in whole class contexts.

The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and technical skills. You will have the ability to effectively support learning and teaching, and to develop relationships across our school and the Star community.

You will have:

• A NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent.
• Experience of working with children in a school setting.
• The ability to maintain positive relationships with students and other adults.
• The ability to work with pupils on a one to one, small groups and whole class.
