Job summary

Warwick College Group is seeking a committed Assessor/Teacher to support a Supporting Teaching & Learning course. The role involves assessing learners on work placements, guiding and mentoring individuals, and ensuring portfolio evidence meets standards.

This pro rata post requires Level 3 teaching/education, GCSEs and assessor/verification qualifications or willingness to obtain them; a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential. Travel to other sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Assessment and moderation of learners against criteria
• Mentor individuals and monitor progress
• Coordinate evidence and portfolio preparation for verification

Responsibilities

• Assess students on a Supporting Teaching and Learning course in work placements
• Guide and support learners to complete qualifications
• Conduct formal progress reviews with learners and employers
• Carry out portfolio checks and ensure evidence is properly referenced
• Liaise with tutors on delivery and completion of courses
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety guidelines
• Maintain accurate student tracking and reporting
