We offer a wide range of staffing solutions to local secondary schools in Tunbridge Wells, including day-to-day supply, long-term cover, and permanent positions. Our strong network of partner schools and market expertise mean we have a steady flow of jobs available throughout the year.

Your new role

Supply teachers support schools during critical periods by providing subject-specific cover or general teaching assistance when regular staff are absent. These roles vary in duration and can often lead to permanent positions. As a Hays Supply Teacher, you can choose your working days and decline jobs that don't suit you. You can work full-time, part-time, or flexibly.

We work with schools in Dartford, Gravesend, Medway, Maidstone, Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks, Sittingbourne, Canterbury, Thanet, Deal, Dover, Folkestone, and Ashford. Long-term supply roles often lead to permanent opportunities, making supply teaching a great way to showcase your talent to local schools.

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications (PGCE, QTS, QTLS)
• A minimum of 2 months' UK teaching experience in the past 4 years (including university placements)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Adherence to professional standards and commitment to student development
• The right to work in the UK
