  • Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Promote positive behaviour and strong wellbeing in the classroom.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, parents, carers and external professionals.
  • Create a safe, inclusive learning environment aligned with safeguarding.
  • Contribute to ongoing professional development and CPD opportunities.

Role
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet individual learning needs
  • Support students with SEMH, SEN, and additional learning needs to achieve their full potential
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to maximise engagement and outcomes
  • Promote positive behaviour through effective classroom management and relationship building
  • Support pupils' emotional wellbeing, confidence, and personal development
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, parents, carers, and external professionals

  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding, professionalism, and educational practice
Requirements
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or are working towards achieving it
  • Have experience within SEN, SEMH, alternative provision, or secondary education settings
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with young people
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Are passionate about inclusive education and supporting every learner to succeed
  • Are adaptable, resilient, and confident working within dynamic educational environments
