Job summary

Teaching Vacancies in the United Kingdom is seeking a passionate Plumbing lecturer to teach full-time students and apprentices up to Level 2. You will deliver theory and practical lessons, plan sessions, and assess progress.

No FE teaching qualification is required at start; we will support you to gain your teaching qualification while you work. Applicants should have Level 2 Plumbing, industry experience, and be willing to develop further teaching credentials.

Qualifications

• Assessor qualification (A1) and/or Verifier qualification (V1) qualifications, or willingness to work towards
• Level 2 Plumbing qualification or above
• Industry experience in Plumbing
• Experience teaching or training others
• Level 4 or above teaching qualification or willingness to pursue
• GCSE Maths & English at grade C or above or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging theory and practical lessons in Plumbing
• Prepare, plan, and deliver learning sessions that motivate and challenge learners of all abilities
• Provide practical demonstrations and hands on training to develop learners’ industry ready skills
• Assess student performance, track progress, and provide constructive feedback
• Support individual learning needs and help remove barriers to learning
• Create an inclusive learning environment that promotes success and independence
• Stay current with industry trends, developments, and best practice

Education

We are looking for a passionate and skilled professional to teach Plumbing to fulltime students and apprentices (up to Level 2)

You do not need a teaching qualification to work in Further Education, just a passion to educate tomorrow’s workforce. We will support the successful applicant to gain their teaching qualification whilst they work at no cost! **.
