Job summary

Harlow College Group is seeking a passionate Plumbing teacher for full-time study and apprenticeship programs up to Level 2. The role focuses on delivering engaging theory and practical Plumbing lessons to learners in a Further Education setting.

The successful candidate will be supported to gain a teaching qualification while employed, at no cost. We value industry experience, a Level 2 Plumbing qualification or above, and a willingness to pursue Level 4 teaching qualifications.

Qualifications

• Assessor qualification (A1) and/or Verifier qualification (V1) or willingness to work towards it.
• Level 2 Plumbing qualification or above.
• Industry experience in Plumbing.
• Experience teaching or training others.
• Level 4 or above teaching qualification or willingness to work towards it.
• GCSE Maths & English at grade C or above or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging theory and practical lessons in Plumbing
• Prepare, plan, and deliver learning sessions that motivate and challenge learners of all abilities
• Provide practical demonstrations and hands on training to develop learners’ industry ready skills
• Assess student performance, track progress, and provide constructive feedback
• Support individual learning needs and help remove barriers to learning
• Create an inclusive learning environment that promotes success and independence
• Stay current with industry trends, developments, and best practice

Job description

We are looking for a passionate and skilled professional to teach Plumbing to fulltime students and apprentices (up to Level 2)

You do not need a teaching qualification to work in Further Education, just a passion to educate tomorrow’s workforce. We will support the successful applicant to gain their teaching qualification whilst they work at no cost! **.
