Job summary

Digitalvish is seeking a dedicated Music Teacher to teach pupils across KS3 and GCSE, delivering engaging lessons that spark creativity and inspire excellence.

You will develop a music curriculum, teach theory, history and performance techniques, organize recitals, and collaborate with staff on interdisciplinary projects.

Candidates must have QTS or equivalent, at least three years of teaching experience, and a genuine passion for nurturing students’ musical talents.

Qualifications

• 1st or 2:1 degree preferred.
• Experience teaching music to students from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency in playing and teaching at least one instrument.
• Must hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging music curriculum tailored to KS3 and GCSE.

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our department, teaching pupils across KS3 and GCSE.

Location:Easily accessible via public transport for those without a car
Salary:£28,000 to £45,000 (depending on qualifications and experience)

Requirements:

• 1st or 2:1 degree preferred
• Previous experience teaching music to students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels
• Proficiency in playing and teaching at least one musical instrument
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with best practices in music education
• A deep passion for music and a commitment to inspiring and nurturing students’ musical talents
• Being highly qualified from a renowned music university
• Having at least 3 years of teaching experience
• Must hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications
• Must have the Right to Work in the UK
• Must hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to process one
