Job summary

Kingsway Park High School is seeking a committed Teacher of Science to join the Science department from January 2027. The role covers KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach across all Science specialisms and to develop classroom practice within a supportive team.

You will deliver engaging, inclusive lessons, uphold high expectations, and collaborate with colleagues to share resources and improve teaching and learning. QTS/QTLS or training route required; ECTs welcome.

Qualifications

• Must hold QTS/QTLS or be training towards QTS.
• Demonstrates strong knowledge of Science and ability to teach KS3-4.

Responsibilities

About this Role

Kingsway Park High School is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Science to join our supportive and ambitious Science department from January 2027.

We are looking for someone who loves their subject, has high expectations and can bring Science to life for students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Applications are welcomed from all Science specialisms, including experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers. At Key Stage 4, students follow AQA specifications, with both Combined Science and separate Biology, Chemistry and Physics qualifications offered.

You’ll join a collaborative team with specialist Science teaching spaces, dedicated technician support and a strong culture of sharing resources, expertise and effective classroom practice.
