Job summary

Ernesford Grange Community Academy in Coventry is seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of Science to join our dedicated science team. You will deliver engaging lessons across KS3/KS4 (and KS5 where applicable), assess progress, and support students to achieve their potential in a supportive school culture.

The successful candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent, bring specialist science knowledge, and demonstrate strong organisational skills and a commitment to high-quality teaching

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent qualification.
• Relevant specialist qualifications and experience.
• Experience teaching across KS3 and KS4 (and KS5, where applicable).
• Excellent organisational skills.
• A good understanding of the curriculum and assessment requirements for Science.
• Enthusiasm and commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning to ensure all learners progress and achieve to a high standard in preparation for examinations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the duties of a subject teacher as set out in the Teacher’s Pay & Conditions Document.
• Deliver high-quality science teaching and tutoring to support student progress across KS3/KS4 (and KS5 where applicable).
• Assess and monitor learner progress, maintain records, and prepare students for examinations.
