To start from 1st September we are looking for an exceptional Teacher of Science to join this distinctive, high achieving, state-funded day and boarding school for boys in the lower school and large mixed Sixth Form in the City of Bath. This is an excellent opportunity to join a large, friendly and successful team. The role could be available in a part-time or full-time capacity.
We are looking for a highly skilled teacher with high expectations who will inspire and motivate students and create a buzz and excitement both within and beyond the confines of the classroom. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent classroom practice, organisation and communication skills and a desire to learn and to contribute towards the ongoing development of the faculty. This position is equally suitable for an experienced teacher and one new to the profession.
The Science results are incredibly strong and student uptake beyond GCSE and A Level is very good. The successful candidate will be expected to teach all Science disciplines at KS3, their specialist subject and one other at KS4 and may teach their specialist subject at A-level.
