Job summary

Lowton Church of England High School in Lowton, Warrington is seeking a Religious Studies specialist for a full-time, temporary position until 31 August 2027. The role combines timetabled RS classes (approximately 0.4–0.6 FTE) with cover duties across the school to support excellent outcomes.

This full-time, fixed term role represents an excellent opportunity for either an inspirational newly qualified or experienced teacher. The role includes timetabled Religious Studies classes (approximately 0.4 0.6 FTE) with the remainder allocated as being available to cover an array of lessons across the school.

You will be a Religious Studies specialist and someone with a desire to inspire our students to achieve excellent outcomes. You will have the teaching skills to achieve excellence and deliver challenging and inspiring lessons.

You will need to pursue excellence from our students and support them in being their personal best at all times, regardless of context or background.
