Join a thriving, outstanding department at the heart of St Mark’s Catholic School
We are looking for an inspiring and dedicated Teacher of Religious Education to join our highly successful school. Our RE department is widely recognised as the heart of the school community and was graded ‘Outstanding’ in three consecutive Diocesan Inspections. Students achieve exceptional results, with 61% of grades awarded at 9-7 last year.
St Mark’s Catholic School, graded ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted in September 2022, is a vibrant and inclusive community where students are encouraged to excel and achieve their full potential. This positive ethos is further reflected in The Sunday Times naming St Mark’s as the 14th happiest school in the country this year.
We offer personalised professional development, a collaborative team environment, and opportunities to make a real impact. Due to the distinctive nature of Religious Education in a Catholic school, we would particularly welcome applications from practising Catholics. This role is suitable for both Early Career Teachers and more experienced colleagues looking for a new challenge.
If you are passionate about making a difference and want to join a forward-thinking and supportive school, we would love to hear from you.
