Job summary

Forest Way School is inviting applications for a dedicated Teacher of Pupils with Complex Learning Needs to support learners aged 4-19 with diverse SEND in a nurturing, specialist setting. The role focuses on personalised, engaging learning that builds independence and achievement.

Are you a passionate and highly skilled teacher with experience of supporting pupils with complex learning needs within a primary setting?

Forest Way School is a successful and nurturing special school for pupils aged 4-19 with a range of special educational needs and disabilities. We are seeking an exceptional teacher who is committed to enabling every child to achieve their full potential through engaging, creative, and personalised learning opportunities.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner who has a strong understanding of teaching pupils with complex needs, including those with severe learning difficulties, autism, communication needs, sensory needs, and associated medical or physical needs.

• Has qualified teacher status (QTS).


• Has successful experience working with pupils with complex SEND in a primary or special school setting.
