King Edward VII School in Sheffield is seeking a confident and enthusiastic PSHE teacher on a 0.52 temporary contract from January 2027 to August 2027. The successful candidate will teach PSHE across Key Stages 3–5, align with the PSHE programmes of study and bring energy, passion and strong ICT skills to inform teaching with data.
The post requires a commitment to safeguarding, professional development and contributing to raising the profile of PSHE within the school.

The successful candidatewill:
PSHE is taught by a trained, dedicated and supportive team at KingEdward VII School. It is highly valued by students and the Leadership Team.Students progress through core topics of equality, citizenship, relationships,safety and mental health through Key Stages 3, 4, and Key Stage 5. Thecandidate will be skilled in facilitating a space for critical thinking,philosophical inquiry and be a self-aware, compassionate individual.

Thesuccessful candidate will be required to complete Disclosure and BarringService declarations in line with Section 115 of the Police Act 1997. Thispost is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the successfulapplicant will be required to apply for an enhanced DBS certificate. As thepost will involve regulated activity with children, it is a criminal offence toapply for this post if you are included on the children’s barred list held bythe DBS.
Amendmentsto the Exceptions Order 1975 (2013 & 2020) provide that certain spentconvictions and cautions are “protected”. These are not subject to thedisclosure to employers and cannot be taken into account.
