Job summary

A dedicated PSHE Tutor is sought for a full-time, temp-to-perm role in Girlington, Bradford. You will deliver structured PSHE lessons to pupils with SEMH needs, supporting emotional regulation and personal development within a small-class setting.

We value resilience, empathy and the ability to de-escalate challenging situations. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm, starting September, with on-the-job training and supportive education consultants guiding your placement and career

Qualifications

• Experience working with SEMH, PRU, alternative provision or youth settings.
• Confident delivering or supporting PSHE / personal development.
• Resilient, empathetic, and emotionally intelligent.
• Able to de-escalate situations and model positive behaviour.
• Qualified teachers, instructors, or experienced tutors are all welcome.

PSHE Tutor Full Time (Temp to Perm)

We are working with a specialist youth provision in Girlington, Bradford, seeking a dedicated and resilient PSHE Tutor to join their team on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis.

This role is ideal for an educator who is passionate about supporting vulnerable young people and delivering meaningful PSHE education that makes a genuine impact.

The Pupils

You will be working with young people who may:

• Have social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs
• Have experienced trauma, adverse childhood experiences, or disrupted education
• Require strong boundaries, consistency, and positive role modelling
• Benefit from a nurturing, relationship-based approach to learning

Class sizes are small, and the focus is on engagement, emotional regulation, life skills, and personal development alongside PSHE delivery.

The Role
