GSL Education are welcoming applications from passionate and dedicated Primary Teachers for a full-time role in Boscombe, Dorset, starting in September 2025. This opportunity is open to Qualified Teachers (QTS), Early Career Teachers (ECTs), and Overseas-Trained Teachers eager to make a difference in a vibrant, mainstream primary school environment.

As a Teacher of Primary, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, creative, and inclusive teaching across the primary curriculum, tailored to meet the needs of all pupils. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a supportive school community that values collaboration, diversity, and holistic child development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Foster a nurturing classroom environment that supports learning and wellbeing.
  • Implement effective assessment strategies to monitor pupil progress.
  • Promote positive behaviour and inclusion across all learning activities.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, staff, and parents.
  • Engage in the wider life of the school, contributing to extracurricular opportunities and school initiatives.

Teacher of Primary requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – applications also welcomed from ECTs and overseas-qualified teachers.
  • Strong command of the primary curriculum and effective teaching practices.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection protocols.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A passion for education and a creative, child-centred teaching approach.
  • Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
