Teacher of Physical Education (PE)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Suitable for: ECTs and experienced teachers

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a vibrant and supportive secondary school in Farnborough to recruit a passionate and motivated Teacher of PE to join the team from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent role, ideal for either a qualified Early Career Teacher or an experienced practitioner who wants to make a real impact in a thriving department.

This role offers the opportunity to teach a range of sports in a well-equipped setting, with strong extra-curricular involvement and excellent student engagement. The ability to teach a second subject, especially Science, is highly desirable.

  • Deliver engaging and challenging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Promote participation in a variety of sporting activities and extra-curricular clubs

  • Contribute to a strong team ethos and a forward-thinking department

  • Foster an inclusive learning environment that supports the development of teamwork, leadership, and resilience

  • Support students in developing both their practical and theoretical understanding of PE

  • A dedicated and collaborative PE department with three specialist staff

  • Excellent facilities including a modern Sports Hall, Fitness Suite, Gym, and specialist classroom for GCSE PE

  • A pre-planned and fully resourced curriculum to reduce workload and support work-life balance

  • Strong track record of student achievement, with some pupils competing at national level

  • Support from a Lead Practitioner and trust-wide collaboration and CPD
