At Future Schools Trust, we are looking for a Teacher of Physical Education & Science to join our expanding team at The Gateway from September 2025. We are offering a £3,000 Golden Hello for this role, paid as a one-off lump sum upon employment commencement.

The Gateway offers a specialized inclusion provision for students within the Trust. The successful candidate will lead and support the learning of students in Physical Education and Science. The role involves driving forward PE and Sport at Gateway, motivating students to participate in sports, and planning and organizing regular active trips and offsite activities.

Additionally, the successful candidate will deliver GCSE Combined Science to Year 10 and 11 students, with support from subject specialists across the Trust.

Whether you are an experienced, motivated teacher or at the beginning of your career seeking a supportive team, this role offers growth opportunities. This role is suitable for someone with significant experience working with young people presenting challenging behaviors and a flexible, creative teaching approach. Confidence in using strategies to engage students with complex needs, including SEND, is essential. Beyond classroom teaching, you will play a key role in the wider care of pupils, supporting their wellbeing and providing a safe, caring environment. From sharing meals to helping manage emotions, you will contribute to a consistent, supportive environment.

We are proud to be eligible for the government’s Levelling Up Premium Payments scheme, allowing successful candidates specializing in Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Computing to claim up to £1,500 per academic year for 2023-2026.
