Job summary

Felixstowe School in England is seeking a vibrant and committed Teacher of PE for maternity cover starting January 2027. The role is a temporary maternity-cover post (0.7–1.0 FTE) to join a welcoming PE team and contribute to clubs, fixtures and enrichment across age groups.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons, inspire confidence and promote wellbeing through active participation, teamwork and resilience. Applicants should love PE and be prepared to grow with the department.

We are looking for a vibrant, enthusiastic and committed Teacher of PE to join Felixstowe School from January 2027 on a maternity-cover basis. This post would suit an energetic teacher who wants to be part of a welcoming team, deliver excellent physical education and make a visible contribution to school life.

PE is an important and popular part of our curriculum, and we are looking for someone who loves their subject, enjoys working with young people and wants every student to experience the confidence, enjoyment and wellbeing that come from being physically active. About PE at Felixstowe
