Job summary

St Helen's School is seeking a passionate Teacher of PE to join the thriving Sport Department on a full-time, permanent basis. The role involves delivering high-quality PE lessons and supporting pupils aged 3–18 to enjoy sport and physical activity.

You will contribute to the extensive co-curricular programme and help develop pathways in Netball (lead sport), Hockey, Cricket and Badminton, while collaborating with colleagues and pursuing professional growth.

Qualifications

St Helen's School is seeking an enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of PE to join our thriving Sport Department on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate PE teacher and coach to help shape a high-quality sporting environment, supporting pupils from ages 3-18 to develop their skills, confidence and lifelong enjoyment of physical activity. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering outstanding PE lessons, contributing to our extensive co-curricular programme, and helping to develop pathways in Netball (lead sport), Hockey, Cricket and Badminton.

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a relevant degree and recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
• Has experience teaching PE and coaching sport.
• Is passionate about inspiring young people through sport and physical education.
• Can contribute to both participation and performance sport across the school.
• Works collaboratively and is committed to ongoing professional development.
