Please note that, effective from 1 April 2023, candidates applying for roles requiring PVG membership will bear the cost of the PVG membership. This applies only to roles with a full-time equivalent salary of £30,000 and above, including teaching roles and jobs at Grade 11 and above (currently £30,285 per annum / £16.64 per hour).
The Council will initially cover the PVG membership cost, which is either £18 for existing PVG scheme members or £59 for non-members. This amount will be deducted from the employee’s first full month’s salary.
To deliver quality education to assigned pupils and contribute to the professional and corporate life of the school in relation to pupils, staff, and external bodies, within the agreements of the SNCT.
