Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a passionate Music Teacher to inspire students across KS3 and KS4 in the Gravesend area. Start ASAP, with long-term opportunities, full-time and part-time contracts available.

You will plan and deliver engaging theory and practical music lessons, support school concerts and events, and work closely with the Music Department. QTS or equivalent is required, along with DBS clearance and the legal right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Previous experience teaching Music within an educational setting.
• A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
• The ability to engage and motivate students across a range of ages and abilities.
• A commitment to safeguarding and supporting young people.
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, or willingness to apply.
• Overseas Police Clearance where applicable.
• Professional references.
• A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, where possible.
• The legal right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

Salary: 34,068 - 52,843 per annum, depending on experience

The Role

As a Music Teacher, you'll have the opportunity to inspire students through both practical and theoretical music education. You'll be responsible for creating engaging lessons that encourage creativity, confidence and a genuine love of music.
