Job summary

Bilton School seeks a versatile and highly effective Music teacher to join our 11-18 comprehensive in Rugby. You will bring love for the subject, complement the team with innovation and energy, and empower students with strong subject knowledge and learning opportunities.

You will play an active role in the wider musical life of the school, contributing to performances and enrichment opportunities while delivering high-quality teaching within the National Curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Teach Music to Key Stage 3 and GCSE/Key Stage 4 students.
• Develop and strengthen Eduqas GCSE Music provision for KS4 and Sixth Form pathway.
• Contribute to musical theatre productions, variety performances and enrichment activities.
• Be organised, dynamic and hardworking with excellent subject knowledge and energy.

As we continue to develop our recently introduced Eduqas GCSE Music course, we are seeking a candidate with the vision and expertise to strengthen our Key Stage 4 provision and create a seamless pathway for students progressing to Sixth Form Music.
