Location: Leeds
Salary: MPS/UPS
Contract: Full-time and permanent
Start date: September 2025

Aspire People is working in partnership with a high-performing 11-16 secondary school in Leeds to appoint a dedicated and confident Teacher of Maths for a full-time, permanent position starting in September 2025.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and ambitious 'outstanding' rated school community that values creativity, inclusion, and academic achievement. There is a focus on staff wellbeing with dedicated support in place for ECTs.

Teacher of Maths - responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Assess, track and report on student progress
Participate in department planning, meetings and wider school activities
Uphold the school's high expectations for behaviour and learning

Teacher of Maths - requirements:

UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or on track to achieve by September
A 2:1 or above in an undergraduate Maths related degree
Experience teaching Maths at secondary level (KS3/KS4)
Strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills
A commitment to raising standards and inspiring students
