About the Role

Are you passionate about helping young people rediscover their love for learning?

We are recruiting on behalf of a unique and inspiring Alternative Provision (AP) school in Liverpool, which is looking for a Math's Teacher to join their team full-time. This is a long-term opportunity with a very strong chance of becoming permanent in September 2025.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Delivering engaging math's lessons to small groups of students (KS3/KS4)
  • Supporting students who may not have thrived in mainstream education
  • Building positive, consistent relationships to help students grow in confidence and ability
  • Working collaboratively with support staff and senior leaders to provide tailored learning experiences

Who We're Looking For

We welcome applicants from a variety of backgrounds, including:

  • Qualified or unqualified teachers with strong math's knowledge
  • Cover Supervisors or HLTAs with experience delivering math's content
  • Educators passionate about supporting students in non-traditional settings

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Confidence delivering KS3/KS4 math's
  • Strong classroom and behavior management skills
  • A calm, consistent, and empathetic approach
  • A commitment to making a difference in the lives of young people
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
