Teacher of Maths | Tower Hamlets | Leading Secondary School | September 2025

Q - Are you a Teacher of Maths looking to join an Outstanding Secondary School in September 2025?

An 'Outstanding' and supportive Secondary School in the Borough of Tower Hamlets is seeking a Teacher of Maths for a September 2025 start. This is a full-time and permanent position.

The current Maths Head of Department has helped the Maths Department grow significantly. The team includes young, experienced, and Teach First Teachers, alongside multiple Maths graduate Teaching Assistants who support attainment across KS3, 4 & 5.

This school has achieved impressive Progress 8 results across KS3, 4 & 5 and offers a fun, creative learning environment for students.

Experienced Maths Teachers can take on TLR roles such as KS3 & KS4 Coordinator, Pastoral Responsibilities, and more.

Newly Qualified Maths Teachers (ECT) will be enrolled in the school's bespoke ECT induction program and will work alongside a range of young and experienced Maths Teachers.

PERSON SPECIFICATION - Teacher of Maths

• Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining it
• Strong academic background: Degree, A Levels, GCSEs
• Meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' level
• Ability to work as part of a large team of Maths Teachers
• Willingness to listen to feedback
