Job Title: Mathematics Teacher Permanent Role

Location: Greenwich, South East London

Start Date: September 2025

Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: MPS/UPS (Inner London Pay Scale) Dependent on experience

The Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Greenwich from September 2025. We are looking for a teacher with a passion for Mathematics and a commitment to ensuring every student achieves their full potential. This is a permanent, full-time position suitable for experienced teachers or ECTs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons in Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 teaching may be available for the right candidate).
  • Plan, prepare and assess lessons that meet the needs of all learners and support high levels of progress.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the Maths curriculum and department.
  • Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and implement strategies for improvement.
  • Foster a positive learning environment and manage classroom behavior in line with school policies.
  • Participate in wider school life, including extracurricular clubs, interventions, and parent events.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
  • Experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school (applications from ECTs welcome).
