About Our Client

Darwen Vale High School (DVHS) is an 11-18 academy with a newly evolving sixth form, collaborating with two other Aldridge Education schools in the town: DACA and DAES. The school’s students come from Darwen, Blackburn, and surrounding areas, with approximately 30% qualifying for free school meals.

DVHS opened in renovated buildings in September 2012, growing from 150 to 240 students per year group. It has been recognized for rapid improvements, with significant gains in student achievement, leading to oversubscription in recent years.

About the Role
