Based at Beauchamp College, part of the Lionheart Educational Trust

Mathematics is extremely popular at Beauchamp College with over four hundred students choosing to study Mathematics at Key Stage 5. Our Beauchamp College Mathematics Faculty is a committed and passionate team that is steeped in experience. We have over twenty teachers, a HLTA and the support and guidance of the Trust Director of Mathematics. We also have our own dedicated classrooms and staffroom in the heart of the college. Staff teach across the whole range of courses and attainment levels. At Key Stage 3 our curriculum embeds the principles of teaching for depth in Mathematics. At Key Stage 4 we offer Functional Maths Level 1 and 2, GCSE Mathematics, Level 2 Certificate in Further Mathematics and GCSE Statistics and, at Key Stage 5, Core Maths, A level and Further Mathematics.

Beauchamp is excited to be leading one of the thirty-four national Maths Hubs across England. This is a fantastic initiative to promote maths school-to-school support and leadership in the East Midlands region and our staff have access to all the new and initiative ways to teach Mathematics because of this.
