Wath Academy is seeking a Teacher of Mathematics to join our Trust-aligned team. You will inspire and develop pupils across KS3-KS5, maintaining high standards in planning, delivery and assessment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Mathematics teaching ability to deliver across KS3–KS5.
• Experience using IRIS for feedback and development.
• Ability to raise attainment and engage diverse cohorts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons to KS3–KS5.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Support curriculum development and school improvement initiatives.

About The Role

Wath Academy is seeking to appoint a Teacher of Mathematics who is fully aligned to our Trust Vision, Values and Behaviours and the Academy Key Drivers. A genuine passion for Mathematics and a strong commitment to developing young people to achieve their potential is essential. We would also welcome applications from Early Careers Teachers (ECTs) who meet the \"Essential\" criteria set out in the Person Specification and experienced teachers looking to continue their career in a supportive faculty.

• Fully 'buy in' to using IRIS and regular drop-in feedback as a mechanism to improving their day-to-day performance as a teacher.

• Have excellent subject knowledge and be able to teach Mathematics effectively across the KS3 - KS5, age and ability ranges.
• Have a track record of delivering clear impact with their own classes.
• Have a true growth mindset, exceptional work ethic and a sense of humour.
• Have the knowledge and experience of the context in which Wath Academy operates.
