Wath Academy in England is seeking to appoint a Teacher of Mathematics who is fully aligned to our Trust Vision, Values and Behaviours and the Academy Key Drivers. A genuine passion for Mathematics and a strong commitment to developing young people to achieve their potential is essential.

We welcome Early Careers Teachers who meet the essential criteria and experienced teachers looking to continue their career in a supportive faculty.

Qualifications

• Driven, proactive, and positive individual with an unwavering commitment to continuously improve their own standards of teaching and learning.
• Fully ‘buy in’ to using IRIS and regular drop-in feedback to improve day-to-day performance as a teacher.
• Have the ability and desire to deliver exceptional teaching and learning.
• A dynamic practitioner with a relentless desire to drive up educational standards and deliver exceptional outcomes for all cohorts of pupils.
• Have excellent subject knowledge and be able to teach Mathematics across KS3–KS5.
• Have a track record of delivering clear impact with their own classes.
• Have a true growth mindset, exceptional work ethic and a sense of humour.
• Have knowledge and experience of the context in which Wath Academy operates.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Mathematics across KS3–KS5 to a broad range of ages and abilities.
• Use IRIS and regular drop-in feedback to develop day-to-day teaching.
• Contribute to high-quality learning inside and outside of the classroom.

About the Role

We would also welcome applications from Early Careers Teachers (ECTs) who meet the “Essential” criteria set out in the Person Specification and experienced teachers looking to continue their career in a supportive faculty.
