Job Title: Teacher of Humanities

Location: Ellis Guilford School, Nottingham

Salary: MPS/UPS (£31,650 - £49,084)

Start Date: September 2025.

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Pattern: Full-Time

About the Humanities Department:

It is our passion, for every child to develop a love for Humanities. Every child can learn Humanities given the correct environment and learning experiences, which our curriculum map embodies.

Our curriculum map is designed to allow children to have exposure to real-life situations and be able to transfer their skills and knowledge learnt into everyday life. It is also important that every child develops a confidence to apply their skills across other areas of the curriculum, and our curriculum map has this in mind with links to science, maths, history and geography in particular. Our curriculum allows children to not only develop their analytical skills, but also their reasoning and problem- solving skills.
