Job summary

The Cowplain School is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate teacher of Food Technology, with an interest in GCSE textiles as an advantage. You would teach our popular Food and Cookery course plus Technology to KS3, covering projects across Engineering, Textiles, Graphics and Food.

We are highly ambitious for our students and strive for excellent outcomes. With a recent Good OFSTED and a commitment to quality teaching, the role demands strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher of Food Technology.
• Interest in teaching GCSE textiles would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Teach Food Technology to KS3.
• Teach Technology to KS3 with projects reflecting Engineering, Textiles, Graphics and Food.

Our Food and Cookerycourse is very popular with 50+ students selecting it from Year 9. You wouldalso teach Technology to KS3 students, which focuses on a range of projectswhich reflect the specialisms of Engineering, Textiles, Graphics and Food.
