Job Description

The food technology department currently has one food teacher and three DT teachers. We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic teacher to join the team. ECTs are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Planning and delivering engaging lessons in food technology.
2. Assessing student progress and providing feedback.
3. Contributing to curriculum development.
4. Collaborating with colleagues to ensure effective teaching.
5. Participating in extracurricular activities such as cooking clubs and school fairs.

Candidate Requirements:

1. Degree in food technology or related field.
2. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
3. Experience teaching KS3-4 food technology.
4. Passion for food and cooking, with a commitment to student engagement.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay rate depends on experience and qualifications.
