About The Role

Job purpose

We are looking for a candidate who will contribute to developing Ark Acton Academy into a great school by teaching a challenging English curriculum, delivering highly effective sequences of lessons, and continuously reflecting on your practice.

Objectives

  • Deliver consistently excellent sequences of lessons to enable pupils to develop a deep understanding of the subject.
  • Support the development of a knowledge-led disciplinary curriculum.
  • Take responsibility for proactive personal professional development to continually build your capabilities.
  • Reflect on your practice regularly and engage with the training and development opportunities at Ark Acton.
  • Contribute to the school’s pastoral and enrichment programs, including trips and visits.
  • Uphold the vision and values of Ark Acton Academy and adhere to the staff code of expectations.
