Job Title: Engineering Teacher

Location: Luton, Bedfordshire
Salary: 30,000 - 46,525 per annum (MPS/UPS)
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2025



About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Engineering Teacher to join a dedicated team in Luton. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire the next generation of engineers by delivering engaging lessons in Resistant Materials and Engineering Design across Key Stage 3 and 4.



Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver high-quality lessons that ignite curiosity and foster a passion for engineering.

  • Plan and implement effective learning experiences tailored to students' needs.

  • Assess students' work systematically and use the results to inform future planning and teaching.

  • Set high expectations to deepen students' knowledge and understanding, maximizing their achievement.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Design and Technology department.



Essential Criteria

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Ability to teach GCSE Resistant Materials and Engineering Design.

  • A 'can-do' attitude and a strong work ethic.

  • A degree in a relevant subject area is advantageous.

  • Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
