Job summary

Parkside Community College is seeking a dedicated Teacher of Design Technology, primarily teaching Food with additional DT duties. You will join a committed team to deliver a robust Curriculum and contribute to a whole-school approach to Teaching and Learning.

The successful candidate will work with Years 7 to 11, supported by a strong department and United Learning's Framework for Excellence, fostering outstanding outcomes and professional development.

Qualifications

Job description

We are excited to offer the opportunity for a talented professional to be a Teacher of DT at Parkside Community College. Candidates will be well supported by a strong department team and the work of the United Learning subject advisory team. Teaching will be underpinned by a robust, academic curriculum, assessment and a whole school approach to Teaching and Learning.

The successful candidate will primarily teach food, alongside some Design and Technology lessons.

You will have a vision for achieving outstanding outcomes and a remarkable experience for our students, in line with United Learning's Framework for Excellence.

You will have the opportunity to teach students in Years 7 to 11 and will join a highly committed and successful team who support one another to succeed and have a shared interest in professional learning and development of the subject.
