Job summary

Parkside Community College is seeking a dedicated Teacher of Design Technology, primarily teaching Food with additional DT duties. You will join a committed team to deliver a robust Curriculum and contribute to a whole-school approach to Teaching and Learning.

The successful candidate will work with Years 7 to 11, supported by a strong department and United Learning's Framework for Excellence, fostering outstanding outcomes and professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering Design & Technology across key stages 3-4.
• Ability to plan effective DT/food lessons and assessments.
• Commitment to developing student outcomes and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Teach Food and some Design & Technology to Years 7–11.
• Collaborate with a strong department team to deliver an outstanding curriculum.
• Contribute to school-wide initiatives under United Learning's Framework for Excellence.
