Aberdeen City Council is seeking a qualified teacher for a permanent, full-time position at St. Machar Academy. The role involves delivering quality education and contributing to the professional life of the school, alongside required PVG membership. Roles requiring PVG Membership:
Please note that from 1 April 2023, roles requiring PVG membership will require candidates to cover the cost, applicable only to roles with a full-time equivalent salary of £30,000 and above, including teaching roles and jobs at Grade 12 and above (currently £32,555 per annum / £16.92 per hour).
The Council will initially pay for the PVG membership (£18 for existing members, £59 for non-members), with the cost deducted from the first full month's salary.
To deliver quality education to pupils and contribute to the school's professional and community life, in line with SNCT agreements.
