Our client, a high-achieving and supportive secondary school based in Bury, is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Computer Science/Maths to join their team from September 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach to KS5 for the right candidate. You will be joining a strong, collaborative team that supports each other in the pursuit of academic excellence and student success.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Computer Science and Maths
Monitor and assess student progress to raise achievement
Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
Maintain a positive learning environment with high expectations for behaviour and achievement
Participate in school-wide activities and professional development opportunities
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Have a strong subject knowledge in both Computer Science and Maths
Be passionate about teaching and committed to raising standards
Be able to inspire, challenge, and motivate students
Have excellent classroom management and communication skills
