Job summary

King Henry VIII School in Coventry is seeking a dynamic Teacher of Computer Science to inspire students from Year 7 through to Upper VI, with a possible Head of Department opportunity for the right candidate. The role is a fixed-term, full-time contract starting January 2027 and ending July 2027.

The successful applicant will join a department renowned for excellent examination outcomes, championing a love of Computer Science and high-quality teaching within a diverse and inclusive school

Applications are invited for a teacher of Computer Science, to join a department renowned for its excellent examination outcomes. The successful candidate will be an outstanding classroom practitioner, inspiring pupils and colleagues through their enthusiasm for computer science and commitment to high-quality teaching and learning. Your dynamic and creative approach will help encourage and champion today’s young Computer Scientists across Years 7 to Upper VI in this, one of the Midlands’ leading, co-educational independent schools.
