Teacher of Chemistry – Maternity Cover

Location: Milton Keynes

Salary: MPS1 – UPS3 (£31,650 – £49,084 per annum)

Contract: Full-time, Fixed-term (1 year from September 2025)

We are seeking a talented and committed Teacher of Chemistry to join our Science department from September 2025 on a one-year maternity cover contract, with the potential for a permanent role.

This is an exciting opportunity to teach Chemistry at both GCSE and A Level in a school with a strong focus on academic excellence and student achievement. The successful candidate will hold a degree in Chemistry and have the ability to deliver A Level Chemistry with confidence and clarity.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold qualified teacher status (QTS)

• Possess a degree in Chemistry or a closely related subject

• Have experience teaching Chemistry at Key Stages 4 and 5

• Be passionate about science education and inspiring young minds
