Accelerate Teaching is excited to present an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Cover Supervisor to join a dynamic secondary school in Bradford. Starting in September 2024, this role offers the chance to inspire and support students in a vibrant and forward-thinking educational environment.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of learning for students during the absence of their regular teachers. You will be responsible for managing the classroom, ensuring students remain on task with their work, and providing support where necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers
• Managing student behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment
• Supporting students with their learning activities and helping them stay focused
• Implementing lesson plans and maintaining classroom order
• Providing feedback to teachers on student progress and behaviour
