Job description

Job Title: Art Teacher (Fixed Term, Maternity Cover)

Contract Duration: Until 31st July 2026

Employment Type: Full time or Part time (minimum 3 days per week)

Salary Range: £30,869 - £48,671 (Hallfield Teacher Pay Scale, M1-T2), dependent on qualifications, skills, and experience. ECTs will be considered.

We are seeking a confident, highly creative, and passionate Art Teacher with enthusiasm for inspiring children through delivering outstanding and engaging lessons. The successful candidate will join our supportive and thriving community, which provides an inclusive and stimulating environment for all children.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and inspirational educator with a proven track record in developing children’s creativity and artistic skills to teach Art across Key Stages 2 and 3.

  • Willingness to contribute to the overall life of the school, including running an afterschool co-curricular club and attending open days
  • Experience in an independent school is advantageous but not essential
  • Ability to teach a second subject is essential if working 3 days or more
