The successful candidate will:

  • Be confident teaching a broad base of Art.
  • Be confident teaching a second subject of Textiles or Graphics.
  • A commitment to inspiring creativity and artistic excellence
  • Provide high quality teaching in the subject areas whereby students make excellent progress over time and are suitably challenged.
  • Plan effective lessons which fulfil the requirements of the curriculum ensuring students reach their academic and creative potential.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation, well-being, and success.
  • Contribute weekly to the extracurricular programme
